Not knowing many other people who train Pokemon, I didn't know what to expect! But I did my best!
When I got there, there was alot of people, some I can happily say that they were older then me!
The Rules!
1) Only 3 Pokemon to be used in battle
2) Only 1 healing move (Rest, Recover, Soft Boiled) to be used per battle
First battle, a kid 1/3 of my size, what can you do, beat him or not, I'll see when I battle! Not knowing what sort of level people are training at I choose my Level 100 Pikachu, my opponent brings out a Level 100 Mewtwo! Darn, looks like I'm stuffed, because he has a Mewtwo, I have no mercy! But his Mewtwo easily over powers my crap Pikachu!
Out comes my Mewtwo! I Blizzard, then he Blizzards and freeze me! And beats my Mewtwo into the ground! I bring out my Articuno know that Blizzard is Excellent against my icy bird but still, Arthur is still a hard hitter! Again, I get beaten, oh well, at least I know what is going on!
Time to change my line up! First out is to be Level 100, Mewtwo, then Level 100, Arthur (Articuno) and Finally Level 100 Alex (Snorlax)
Who is my next opponent, no one is ready, but I can have a rematch with the little kid! I ACCEPT! When I'm loading my Pokemon Yellow, his Mum comes over to him and asks how many more battles has he got to win to get his Mew and battle the Nintendo Official Magazine Pokemon Masters! He replies only one! What am I suppossed to do? Let him win? No! This defeat can be his first disapointment in his life! HA! We let battle commence again! I am victorious!

I get my 5 wins (two against a 30 year old man!!!) I download my Mew and take on one of the Pokemon Masters!
The rules are different, you are only allowed to have 1 Pokemon as it saves time, I use my Mewtwo, It's the strongest I have!
I go against Mark who brings out a Level 100 Chansey, I laugh to myself! What the hell is this man thinking! I soon stopped laughing! I let rip with a strong Psychic attack, then he uses Minimize, ok. I try to get another Psychic attack, but it misses due to his Chansey Minimizing! I don't worry because I know that Chanseys have a low Attack level! Then he uses Thunder Wave, there is nothing I hate more that being Paralyzed! Oh well, it isn't the end of the world! Because of my Mewtwo being Paralyzed Chansey gets to go first! Seismic Toss, what else do I have to say, a whopping 100 HP taken of my fearless Mewtwo! I try to attack but I'm paralyzed for the rest of the battle! I was defeated! I get given a silver badge "I challenged the Ninetendo Official Magazine Pokemon Masters!"
My 1st badge!
This badge is for people who haven't beaten the Pokemon Masters! The badge I'm given is poorly made! That makes it personal. But first lunch! Burger King for me is awful, I went to one where the burgers were cold, hopefully this place would be different! It was, as I had my dinner I looked at my Official Mew and thought of a battle statergy (I didn't use it though!)
2nd Badge (I am Victorious!)
I won't go into so much detail but I whipped my opponents' ass' I didn't lose once, what competition is a Level 35 Snorlax (As much as it hurt to beat it!) Anyway, I got my 5 wins but this time I'm against Pokemon Master Barry who use a Level 100 Articuno! No match for my Mewtwo's Blizzard attack! After I beat him, he says that this Articuno isn't his but had been trained by Tim the bloke next to him and that is why it is so crap! That means that I can either go against the Pokemon World Champion Darryn Van Vuuren or the Ultimate Pokemon Warrior Dave! When I was battling I heard two kids say that the Pokemon World Champion is unbeaten all day! On hearing this, I didn't fancy going through 5 more battles so I went against Dave!
Which Pokemon could he possibly use to be crowned the Ultimate Pokemon Master...a level 100 Mewtwo. OK, I've gone against other Mewtwos today and won, no need to worry! It kicks off and Daves Mewtwo is faster and he does a Blizzard, then I do a Blizzard attack, CRITICAL HIT! Thats gonna hurt! Then another Blizzard from him, and then me! We both decide then to use recover, so we are back to square one, we both use Blizzard! But wait... I freeze his Mewtwo solid and it stays like that for the rest of the battle! I win my third badge (It is exactly the same as the second!)
Overall my day is brilliant I suggest that anyone in england who lives near an event should definately go!
